Rome. Chiara is a young french woman particularly fond of an old movie set on a milonga that she watches over and over again. She has recently moved to the fifth floor of a sunny building in the middle of a hot summer. Four weeks ago she has left her curtains to a tailor shop for a simple hem repair, but they haven't got back to her yet. Because of that she has been constantly spied on by a maniac who lives in the building opposite hers. Exasperated, the day she finds out he has also been taking pictures of her , she decides to break into the man's apartment only to find out that her creepy neighbor is not the real threat...

Surrounded by temptations of the world of Western consumer culture, Amin and Hoda are in constant struggle to free their relationship from the shackles of traditional moral values and sexual taboos. A fight, a few drinks too many, and Amin finds himself in a new relationship - with a storefront mannequin. Unlike Hoda, the new girl is a game for anything. And she doesn’t talk as much. A whimsical portrait of a young generation at a crossroads.
